Creative Writing Workshop- 8 Week Class
Instructor: Suzanne Van Atten
For writers who don’t need basic instruction on the craft of writing, but who want to be held accountable for producing pages and receive constructive criticism on their work. The workshop is limited to 8 writers, both fiction and nonfiction, who will submit up to 15 pages every other week for feedback from the instructor and fellow classmates. Over the course of eight weeks, each writer is guaranteed to produce and workshop up to 60 pages. Not for beginning writers.

Biography: Lead features content manager for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution who produces the award-winning narrative feature Personal Journeys. She is also a Pushcart Prize-nominated essayist, an award-winning travel writer, author of the travel guide “Moon Puerto Rico” and director of the Decatur Writers Studio. In her spare time, she’s working on a novel.
