Humor Writing Class
Instructor: Mickey Dubrow
Do you want to add a bit of humor to your essay, memoir, article, short story, or novel? Learn about the various types of prose humor, as well as comedic techniques that will make your readers smile. Participants will try out their comedic chops with in-session writing exercises and leave with writing prompts to use in their own work.
Class limit is 12.
Biography: Mickey Dubrow’s work has appeared in Full Grown People, The Good Man Project, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency. As a TV writer and producer, he is the recipient of several broadcast writing awards, including a 2013 Telly Silver Award, and a 2007 Promax Silver Award.
