This six-week workshop de-mystifies narrative non-fiction and approaches it as a night out with your most dangerous friend. We’ll read, write, laugh, cry, and try out some process-rattling writing exercises to nurture your voice into something you and readers love. You’ll learn to turn place into character, use small details to tell big stories, let scenes speak for themselves – and more. Applicable to books, essays, memoirs, journalism and blogs.
Six week course. All levels of writers welcome.
Class limit is 12.
Wednesdays. Sept. 5 - Oct. 10
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
