Instructor: Collin Kelley
Using a variety of forms and writing prompts, this is a generative workshop for writers of all levels who can expect to leave each class having written a poem or two. We'll be writing persona, ekphrastic, and narrative poetry, among others, as well as exploring work by Anne Sexton, Adrienne Rich, Ted Kooser, Rita Dove, Sharon Olds, Alice Walker and more contemporary poets. We will also read our work aloud and offer feedback to help strengthen voice and imagery.
Class is limited to 12 students
