Instructor: Joshilyn Jackson
Whether you are revising a completed MS or lost in the wilds of a work-in-progress, the goal of this class is to move you closer to a ready-to-shop book-length MS while fostering community among local writers. 20% of our time will be formatted as a lecture/discussion focusing on a specific element of craft or navigating the publishing industry. The rest of the class time will function in the same way as a college or graduate school workshop where you will receive both my feedback and the feedback of your peers in a supportive, constructive, and goal oriented environment. This class presupposes that you have already drafted 50 + pages of a novel, short story collection, narrative non-fiction, or narrative memoir.
This class is not suited for those working on non-narrative forms of nonfiction or brand new writers.
Class Limit is 12.
